Plant A Seed ROOTS@School is an in-school suspension program focusing on behavior management while allowing students to remain in a learning environment.
The ultimate goals of PAS in-school suspension program is to:
- Solve root problems.
- Encourage positive behavior and positive self worth.
- Connect with students on a 1 to 1 basis.
- Discourage repetitive negative thoughts and actions.
36 unique and relatable topics are presented to teach students life concepts that can be applied both inside and outside the classroom.
Thrive 345! Elementary Program
Plant A Seed Elementary Thrive 345! is a year-long building program designed to encourage self-identity, as it applies to self, others, and community. Each lesson includes short video clip, guided discussion, and engaging activities. Using arts, educational and physical activities, students are directed into learning teamwork, conflict resolution, communication, social skills and more.
The recommended implementation grades are 3rd, 4th and 5th. A facilitator is provided and trained by Plant A Seed. Pre-made material kit including all activity tools is included in the program package.
Take5! Character Building Program
A 5 minute topic centered message to connect teachers to students
- Plant A Seed Homeroom Huddle is designed to provide brief messages with relevant life topics, pertinent to middle and high school students.
- Messages are downloaded through a QR code on the screen, allowing students to access an engaging video clip, relatable conversation, and helpful tips and tools.
- 60 topics are available to choose from including, anger, bullying, family conflict, peer pressure and conflict resolution. Each school district creates their own Take5! program with 12 messages per quarter.
